Wegmans Is Coming to Largo!

The long awaited arrival of Wegmans in Woodmore Towne Center will be over on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 7:00 AM!  There has been a shortage of high end grocery stores and health food stores near my house for years.  Anyone who is looking for organic foods and natural products understands my pain when I say you usually have to sacrifice quality for convenience.  While it's not far to drive to Annapolis for Whole Foods or Trader Joe's or College Park for Mom's, I am looking forward to the five mile drive to get to the Wegman's.  I will be even more excited in February when the company I work for relocates to a building across the street from the shopping center on McCormic Drive!  Stay tuned for more information on the store and my grand opening experience as I will be in the store shopping on Sunday!

Shakeology Fast Oct 2010.mov



This is the last day of the 3 day Shakeology cleanse/fast! I lost 1 lb a day, 3 lbs total so I'm pleased with the results. I drank LOTS of water today to get through the hunger spells and I made it to the end!

I've outlined what I ate and the times below to hopefully help give others ideas how to do the fast.

9:00 AM Chocolate Shakeology
(1 serving chocolate Shakeology, 10 oz water)

8:30 AM Green Tea

12:00 PM Banana and water

1:00 PM Chocolate Shakeology
(1 serving chocolate Shakeology and 10 oz water)

3:30 PM Apple slices and water

8:00 Salad with 2 oz grilled chicken with avocado & a cup of green tea
(3 cups of romaine & spring mix lettuce, 2 tbsp raspberry vinaigrette dressing)

Day 2 - Shakeology Fast

Day 2 of the 3 day Shakeology cleanse/fast is coming to a close. Today was much better than yesterday! I've lost about 2 lbs so far so I'm pleased. I did make sure I had my snacks in between the meals and that helped a great deal. It was hard fixing dinner for my family knowing only a salad with some salmon would be my dinner; but I made it through. I haven't figured out a way to work around that, but tomorrow they will have left overs so that will help.

I've outlined what I ate and the times below to hopefully help give others ideas how to do the fast.

8:30 AM Dieter's Green Tea
9:00 AM Chocolate Shakeology with mixed berries
(1 serving chocolate Shakeology, 10 oz water, 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries)

11:15 AM Banana and water

1:30 PM Chocolate Shakeology
(1 serving chocolate Shakeology and 10 oz water)

4:00 PM 1 Cup grapes and water

8:00 Salad with 4 oz salmon & a cup of green tea
(3 cups of romaine & spring mix lettuce, 2 tbsp olive oil & vinegar dressing)

10:00 Chocolate Shakeology
(1 serving chocolate Shakeology and 10 oz water)

Day 1 - Shakeology Fast

Day 1 of the 3 day Shakeology cleanse/fast is coming to a close. I had a few rough spots but for the most part things went well. I've been in a spiritual seminar all day so I didn't have my snacks this morning or this afternoon. Tomorrow I will need to make sure I get in the snacks to keep the hunger at bay. I STRONGLY suggest having a snack 2-3 hours after the meal to help you get through the day. I started with breakfast at 8:30 AM and started getting hungry around 11:30 AM or so. I had a shake for lunch and a piece of fruit with a good amount of water and it helped me get through the rest of the seminar, which ended at 4:00 PM. Immediately after the seminar I had a few apple slices and more water because the hunger was returning. Then I had a cup of green tea when I got home. I've outlined what I ate and the times below to hopefully help give others ideas how to do the fast.

8:30 AM Dieter's Green Tea
9:00 AM Chocolate Covered Strawberries Shakeology
(1 serving chocolate Shakeology, 10 oz water, 1 cup strawberries)

I used more fruit because I knew I would miss my snack

12:00 PM Chocolate Shakeology and a banana
(1 serving chocolate Shakeology and 10 oz water)

4:00 PM Bag of apple slices and water

5:30 Cup of green tea

8:00 Salad with 2 oz grilled chicken breast
(3 cups of romaine & spring mix lettuce, cherry tomatoes, avocado, 2 tbsp honey mustard vinaigrette dressing)

10:00 Chocolate Shakeology
(1 serving chocolate Shakeology and 10 oz water)

Shakeology Cleanse



The Shakeology Cleanse/Fast is meant to jump start you in your fitness journey (prior to starting an exercise program), break a plateau (if currently in a workout program) or shed pounds fast & effectively in a healthy way. If you are currently doing a workout program, try this on a recovery week, instead of on a week of regular workouts. If you try the cleanse or have already tried it, please remember to come back here and post a comment about your success!! As another side note. Shakeology is not just meant to be used in the Fast, but also as a healthy meal replacement shake to be taken once daily after the Fast. It is important to know that the maximum amount of days to do the cleanse is up to 3 days, meaning you can just do 1 or 2 days of it but no more than 3.

Below are the details of the Fast/Cleanse:

3 Day Shakeology Fast or Cleanse:

Mission: To help as many people become healthier from the inside out. Internal health is the foundation to external beauty.

Products Needed: Chocolate or Greenberry Shakeology
You will continue to use the product after the Fast is over to continue your weight loss efforts and overall health benefits.

3 SHAKEOLOGY Shakes a day
2 Cups of Green Tea a Day
1 or 2 pieces of fruit a day
1 salad for dinner
Only white grilled protein in salad

NO: DAIRY, or EXTRA SUGARS

Only Low Fat Dressings.

You can put your 2 snacks before/after any of the MAJOR MEALS-Breakfast Lunch & Dinner

The fruit is optional, and I actually discourage it, however, some of you will need the calories where others would not.

Power workout participants (Super Conditioned- not the weight challenged) are recommended to add the fruit for the extra calories.

*** For maximum results NO additives.

NO DIARY products at all for maximum results, no almond soy or rice milk.

Use only WHITE GRILLED PROTEIN Poultry or fish in the Dinner Salad

REPEAT all 3 Days

1 or 2 cup(s) of green tea, or Triple Leaf Detox Tea, throughout the day.

BREAKFAST:
Shakeology, 140 calories, 1 scoop
½ cup of fruit (60-90 calories)-optional
add ice
8-10 oz of water

SNACK (85 calories)
1 piece of fruit
- Apple, pear, orange, banana mango, etc

LUNCH:

SNACK:
