Gluten Free, is it better?

It seems like everyone is switching to a gluten free diet these days. A gluten-free diet is a must if you have gluten allergies or celiac disease, a condition which causes intestinal damage when gluten is eaten. Many health foods stores and some major supermarkets now carry gluten-free products. These are often made with rice or potato flour instead of wheat.
